Four things, and I’ll try to make it succinct 😉

NB. Jordan has told me he is adding a hang drum (yup!!) workshop on Sunday morning, details TBA, but he only has 5 spots. Email him directly if you’re interested asap:
2) I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE COMMITTED TO THE JULY 1ST PERFORMANCE AT THE SID WILLIAMS 🙁
– If I don’t see more interest soon I will have to cancel. To date I have only 9 people and I need at least twice that many….Please message me if you’re interested in participating in this really fun show: we would be playing for about 7 – 10 minutes, a sequence of rhythms that won’t be terribly complicated (I will tweak it to suit the group that signs up) and – like last year – we’d “bring down the house” LOL! You also have to commit to three practices.

June 28 5 – 6 pm
June 30 5 – 6 pm
3) My ANNUAL SOLSTICE Potluck/Drum/Fundraiser will be JUNE 21 5 – 7 pm at the Royston Hall (at the lights in Royston). Bring food for plenty, your own cutlery & plates, etc, your drum and/or rhythm instrument (some extra drums will be available), and your good vibes! Hope to see you there! FUNDRAISER!
4) Summer Drumming Programming through Courtenay Recreation has me booked for some fun, short workshops:
Intro to Duns (for beginners): July 16 – 18 3:45 – 4:30 pm
African Hand Drumming for Beginners: July 16 – 18 2:30 – 3:30 pm AND August 13 – 15 2:30 – 3:30 pm (NB August session is a repeat of July session)
Summer Grooves Rhythm Ensemble (for those with previous drumming experience): July 16 – 18th 1:00 – 2:00 pm AND August 13 – 15 1:00 – 2:00 pm (each session will cover new material)
Intro to Bucket Drumming (for beginners): August 13 – 15 3:45 – 4:30 pm
* Plus 2 FREE Drums Alive demo classes: July 17 and August 14 5 – 6 pm
