Drumming Overview

One of the most popular hand-drumming jams are held at Goose Spit in Comox on Sundays, approximately from May to September. Since these jams are outside, they are weather-dependent, so they can start in May on Sunday afternoons (2PM-ish), and when the air temperature warms up, the time switches to evenings (7PM-ish). When allowed, beach fires add to the magic. It’s a community event, open to all hand drummers, dancers, and listeners! It happens at the far end of Goose Spit, near the DND gate. The actual address is at the South end of Goose Spit Park, Hawkins Road, Comox, BC. See a Google Street view below or click here: https://goo.gl/maps/P4wWgvVpJEN2

The Comox Valley Hand Drummers email list is sent out whenever I hear of hand drumming events in Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, Black Creek, Merville, Royston, and sometimes Denman Island.

If you hear of a drum event, either to play at or to listen, let me know and I will pass it on through this list, thank you.
If you have cool photos, send them and I can put them up on this site.
